Booking Conditions For all Properties offered by Devon Willows Keep For Reference
PAYMENTS
Provisional bookings remain firm for one week pending receipt of a 20% deposit.
The balance is due 6 weeks prior to the arrival date. Non payment by the due date will be treated as cancellation.
CANCELLATION
In the event of cancellation, please advise us immediately. We will attempt to re-let the property and return your payment, less a handling charge of £25.00 per cottage. If we are unable to re-let all monies will be forfeited.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The cottages are available from 2.00pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure.
GUEST NUMBERS
The number of people occupying a cottage must not exceed the number stated without written approval from Devon Willows. Guest and friends are welcome to visit. ( but no pets please)
GROUPS
We do not normally accept same sex groups or groups where the majority are under 21 years. (a group being 5 or more people)
CLEANING, DAMAGE, BREAKAGES
The cottages should be left clean and in the same good condition as found. Any breakages should be reported and we reserve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage.
BEHAVIOUR
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that all members of their party do not behave in a way which causes offence or danger to others or which risks damage to property belonging to others. In such circumstances Devon Willows reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately , in which case our responsibility to you ceases immediately and there will be no refunds, no payment of compensation and no reimbursement of any cost or expenses you may incur as a result. Furthermore, you will be liable to reimburse us for any expenses whatsoever it incurs as a result of your behaviour.
PETS
Pets are allowed at some of the properties and the details of the number and breed should be mentioned when booking. However, we take no responsibility for their safety. Please ensure that pets remain out of the bedrooms at all times, do not sit on the furniture and are never exercised on the premises. We take great exception to clearing away dog foul! Pets must never be left unattended in the property. Under the essential information for each property we specify whether or not pets are permitted. The hirer is liable any damaged caused by pets.
In the unlikely event of your cottage being unavailable for reasons beyond our control, e.g. fire damage, we will endeavour to find similar alternative accommodation or give a complete refund. No further liability will be accepted.
The use of accommodation and gardens is entirely at the Hirers's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the Hirer or the Hirer's companions or guests.
