We stayed in Colhayne West early Jan 2012. This lovely little cottage was absolutely immaculate and exactly as described. It was warm and cosy and a great base for exploring River Cottage, Honiton for it's antiques.
The bed was vvv comfortable.
Definately recommend.
(only minor comment was that we stay in a lot of similar places and it is nice to have tea bags, milk, biscuits on arrival - just a small touch that might be nice)

My stay at Colhayne East was a perfect bolt hole while on a two week teaching placement at Musbury Primary School - about 10 minutes east of Shute
Aneita and Mark were very accommodating and offered a very good out of season rate - sure beat driving the 80 mile round trip home each day I can tell you!
The cottage was cosy and comfy and a real haven after the fast pace of the classroom
I would recommend it for anyone working in East Devon.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. It is a convenient centre both for towns, villages and the coast. There are loads of lovely walks within minutes and if that is too strenuous it is easy to relax in the garden and try to spot the fish in the river.
Thank you both, and in the words of Fu Man Chu, we shall return.

In the past we have provided a breakfast pack, in all cottages.But due to food allergies and lactose intolerance we found that they were not being used. So we made the decision only to leave tea bags and sugar.
Look forward to seeing you again in the future.
